Relocating

Starcraft II
When's it coming already?! I can't keep playing the grossly outdated original game forever.
-----------------------------
Well, I saw Mayweather have some fun with Marquez last night. It was a good fight, if you enjoy the occasional taunt against a dumb ass boxer. I mean when Marquez went in swinging, it was fine for the 2 seconds that he did show some effort. After that, his attempt at covering himself wasn't that great. I've never seen a man take that many shots to the face. :sex joke here:

And I did get to see some of the Giants game today. Hahaha, it was opening night for the Cowboys at their brand new stadium in Arlington, and they lost to a bunch of yankees (not the team, obviously). That's a great way to break in the new stadium :D .. By the way that place was redonkulous: a 7 STORY tall scoreboard, and two huge "windows" (one on each end zone) and a closing/opening roof.

Cut Copy was downloaded today via eMusic. eMusic.com really has a great collection of tunes that iTunes doesn't carry, you really should give them a try.  One thing that reeled me in to them was their promo at the time: 75 songs for $12 just for the first month. I believe it was 25 songs + 50 free songs just for signing up with them. Anyway, In Ghost Colours is the name of the album and so far, I'm enjoying it! One of my favorites on this album is "Hearts On Fire"; it has kind of an Electro rhythm to it, while maintaining that good rock sound. If you can, listen to the Build Remix of that song.

They have another album that really grew on me and is now taking over a friends life: Bright Like Neon Love.
Cut Copy is your run-of-the-mill rock band with a 21st century feel. Not limiting themselves to the drum kit, guitars and basses; their different sounds, synthesizers, pedals and effects make for a great listening or driving experience/dance party. If you're looking for something new, fun and a little weird, give them a listen.

Finally, I hope we're done with Kanye's jackassism now. If you've yet to get your fill, go to http://www.imaletyoufinish.com/ and get that shit over with.

LOL

This is probably the best Kanye meme of all time. Very briefly, I was watching Lewis Black last night and he was talking about Obama calling Kanye a jackass. And then he acted out the scenario:
"Oh, the President mentioned me? What did he say?"

That Kanye West is a son of a gun.

What a gay fish that Kanye is...

How do you start a good blog? Probably by avoiding that question. I carry the title "Blogger" but what I do isn't exactly that. More like "Self-promoter as a third party" for a company you could care less about. Sales kill the soul. I was taught not to be greedy, and so that's how I attempt to live. The only way I live is to do so vicariously through my instrument.

I give it life and when the timing is right, the melodies soar passed the imagination; the stream of pitches come out before I have time to think of what I'm doing. It's not what some are used to listening to.

I'm now listening to "Song 2". What a great song by a group of individuals. The guitars, violin, drums, bass and trombone give it a certain characteristic that exposes the souls of those who composed it.

The plane where tones become words and phrases become sentences is where we'll be able to communicate best. The mumbling becomes crystal clear and the tone is as warm as the feeling we all crave at one point or another. Sometimes I wish I could express myself through my speech as well as I can through my trombone. Bold and sometimes brash are the expressions I can never seem to express, until it is too late. On my wind instrument though, I can't avoid speaking a universal language. Music is my escape and, unfortunately, is never a long enough getaway.
